Does the visit go ahead if it rains ?

Absolutely – rain doesn’t stop Parisians! A good umbrella and a waterproof coat will be your best friends. And if a storm really does occur, we will take shelter in a tavern. Parisian innkeepers are known for their hospitality.

Question 3

What if I have to (reluctantly of course) postpone my visit?

Accepted Answer

You can change the date of your visit on the website up to 48 hours before the scheduled date. After this time, your reservation cannot be changed and payment will be due.

Question 4

I did not receive the confirmation email, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

It may be in your spam folder. If it is not there, please check that the transaction has been recorded and that you have been debited. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at lesdessousdeversailles@gmail.com

I did not receive a physical ticket or an invoice, is this normal?

Our confirmation email is your proof of purchase, we do not send a sealed letter or an invoice.

Question 6

Can I come to the visit with my child and/or my dog (which you can - without any judgment on my part - consider as your child)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if they are calm and do not disrupt the visit. 
- For the child: they must be able to walk and listen to the wonderful guide for 1h30. Visits are not recommended for children under 12 years old, but a visit for children is being prepared.
- For the dog: you should know that Louis XIV loved dogs! And what Louis loves, Laurane loves as well

Question 7

Can I come with a stroller/wheelchair?

Since the tour takes place in the streets of the Marais, the usual precautions must be taken (small sidewalks, cobblestone streets, sometimes wild traffic...). That said, the tour does not include any climbs or steps. For more details, please contact me at lesdessousdeversailles@gmail.com

What should I prepare for my visit?

Nothing. Come as you Are. However, wear comfortable shoes.
